Review by hotel critic
Maxmee Backpackers Resort in Surfers Paradise truly exceeded my expectations! The laid-back vibe and friendly staff made me feel right at home, reflecting the warm Aussie hospitality I love. The location is unbeatable, with the beach just a stone's throw away and a vibrant shopping area within walking distance, perfect for exploring the local scene. The facilities are top-notch, with clean rooms and private bathrooms ensuring a comfortable stay. The inclusion of a pool, tennis and volleyball courts, and a bar added to the overall experience. Plus, the daily activities provided a great way to immerse myself in the local culture and connect with fellow travelers.I was particularly impressed by the eco-friendly initiatives at the resort, emphasizing sustainability without compromising on comfort. The free Uber service to the city during the day was a thoughtful touch, allowing guests to explore the area easily. I highly recommend this eco-friendly gem for anyone looking to unwind, connect with nature, and enjoy a sustainable travel experience. Can't wait to return with my family and share this hidden treasure with them!
